The Huawei Mate X was supposed to be launched in June. Company postponed the launched of the device to work on it’s Quality. Huawei wanted to avoid any type on negative comments like the Samsung Galaxy Fold got. After the postpone of the device and after some improvement in the device’s P-OLED screen Huawei said that they will launch the device in September. The device was revealed to the world in February this year.
After some quality and durability test’s Mate X passed Chinese 3C certification. It is likely to include a new charger of output of 65W. Mate X measures about 8” while the Samsung Galaxy Fold measured about 7.3” when unfold and 6.6” and 4.6” when folded.
The device is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core Kirin 980 processor. It has 8GB RAM/512GB and runs on Android 9.0. Mate X battery capacity is 4,500mAh and supports fast charging. It has a triple camera setup in the rear side of the device of 40MP+16MP+8MP. The P-OLED screen has 1148×2480 pixels.
